A potentially historic storm is approaching Fairfield County with some snow possibly starting as early as Monday morning with the heaviest snow and winds expected Monday night through Tuesday with a Blizzard Warning issued by the National Weather Service. Fairfield could see a total of 18-24 inches with the Nor'easter expected to bring the area to a standstill throughout the day and evening Tuesday.
