Police arrested a Fairfield woman who reportedly stole about $22 in beauty products from Stop & Shop on Kings Highway Cutoff on Saturday, March 7. Alexandria Krikau, 23, of Holland Hill Road, was stopped by loss prevention officials Saturday after the security officer noticed she was acting suspicious while shopping, police said. Krikau and her boyfriend used a self-checkout line, where they used food stamps to purchase two boxes of cereal, before Krikau was caught with two bottles of nail polish, two makeup brushes and a pair of women's pantyhose in her possession, according to police.
