Fairfield and Westport firefighters spent the morning Saturday responding to a report of two vehicles on their sides with people injured and trapped on I-95 between Exit 18 and 19 near the Sasco River Creek Overpass. "This was a serious accident and a very complicated extrication," said Assistant Fire Chief George Gomola, the incident commander.
