Chris Tymnika, a District 9 Republican Town Committee member, took time out of Monday's RTC meeting to formally announce his candidacy for the office of Fairfield first selectman in 2015. Tymniak's speech, although short and far from a tell-all, was met with a standing ovation from more than 40 RTC members at the meeting.
