One of the two branch offices of First Niagara Bank in Fairfield will be closed under plans announced this week, with the accounts consolidated at the bank's other local office in January. The branch bank at 2500 Black Rock Turnpike will be closed, bank officials said, as part of a broader plan to consolidate 17 branches and two drive-through locations across four states.
