Fairfield Man Allegedly Drinking While Driving Corrects Officer on the Brand of Beer Consumed

A Fairfield man was recently pulled over for drinking from an open bottle of beer while driving - and corrected the officer on what type of beer he was drinking, according to the Connecticut Post. The Post reports that Piotr A. Karpiel, 52, of Church Hill Road, was pulled over after the officer saw him take a drink from the bottle and when the officer told him it looked like he was drinking a bottle of Corona, Karpiel allegedly replied, "It was a Bud Lite Lime."
