Snow and freezing rain started to taper off in Fairfield County late in the morning Saturday as the quick-moving storm is rapidly moving further east. A Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect for most of Fairfield until 6 p.m. Saturday, and a Winter Storm Warning until 6 p.m. for Northern Fairfield.
