The Fairfield Fire Commission unanimously elected a 32-year veteran of the Yonkers Fire Department to be the new deputy fire chief in town. Veteran firefighter Kyran Dunn was elected March 9, nearly a year after the commission decided not to renew the contract with former deputy fire chief Art Reid.
