As a member of FPLAN, a Fairfield-based organization dedicated to ensuring environmental protection and oversight for our town's land, marshes, open space and waters, I would like to thank our state Rep. Brenda Kupchick for her strong advocacy when it came to the long-awaited Excide cleanup and Mill River lead remediation. I am grateful for her commitment as Brenda helped to lead efforts to ensure our state officials required a better cleanup and more input from our town and better access to detailed information.
