An alert citizen dining at the Chipotle restaurant called Fairfield police to let them that they believed a drunken man was leaving the Grasmere Avenue eatery and getting behind the wheel, police said. Thomas Ammon, 50, was quickly stopped by officers Tuesday evening as drove down Grasmere Avenue toward the Post Road, police said.
