Ruth d. Hoxton

Born April 24, 1917, in Great Barrington, Massachusetts, she was the daughter of Delano deWindt and Ruth Church deWindt, of Great Barrington. Mrs. Hoxton married Archibald R. Hoxton Jr., of Alexandria, Virginia, on Aug. 16, 1941, and began a wonderful 61 year partnership which included postings as head of The Fairfield Country Day School, Fairfield, Connecticut; The Green Vale School, Glen Head, Long Island, New York; and The Episcopal High School, Alexandria, Virginia.
