FEMA Reimburses Fairfield With $1.8 Million For Storm Sandy Cleanup

The Federal Emergency Management Agency has reimbursed the town of Fairfield nearly $1.8 million for debris removal and disposal costs attributed to Superstorm Sandy, First Selectman Michael Tetreau announced Monday. The reimbursement of $1,782,119.94 is at the 75 percent maximum federal cost share level for $2,376,159.91 of eligible charges, Tetreau said.
